Dr. Jenetta Thompson, MD, FACS

Dr. Jenetta Thompson, MD, FACS is a board certified general surgeon. She completed medical school and surgery training at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. 

She has over six years of experience with treating common surgical issues including gallbladder related pathology, hernias (inguinal and ventral), and bowel pathology (small and large bowel obstruction, polyps). Common surgical procedures include cholecystectomy, hernia repair, small/large bowel resection, upper and lower endoscopy. She is trained in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and robotic approach).

Besides common surgical problems, she has a special interest providing holistic and comprehensive care for gastroparesis patients. Symptoms of gastroparesis include nausea, vomiting, bloating, and early satiety. There are multiple treatment options, as there is no cure for gastroparesis. She aims to improve your quality of life and provide some relief of your every day life.
